Crime to rise this year: Astrologers

CHANDIGARH: If the current level of criminal activities in Tricity were bothering you then brace yourself for some bad news. The stars are not favourable to the law and order situation in the Tricity.
Astrologers say that with the year having begun on a Saturday and ending on one, the law and order problem will remain grim and crime rate would rise.
According to Chandigarh-based astrologer Madan Gupta Spatu, 'The New Year is unfavourable for Tricity. One can expect a lot of unrest and fire incidents. Rainfall will not be up to the mark.' He added, 'The IT sector would remain at a low ebb, but real estate prices will touch new heights. In the local administration a senior officer may end up at the receiving end of the Cenre's ire'.
The other two astrologers from Mohali, Dr Harsh Sharma and Navdeep Kochar, say that residents in Chandigarh will have a tough time and levels of discontentment would keep on rising with the administration not being unable to cope with peoples' expectations.
The law and order situation would remain grim with rising crime becoming a major source of embarrassment for the administration.
